1930s Art Deco Marble & Metal Clock, w/ New Battery Movement
This charming clock was made circa 1930s, and is made with various kinds of marble, in black, rust, and pale green. The deer and ball detail are made of pot metal, with green polychrome paint applied overtop. There are some old repairs to the rust-toned marble (see photos), and the deer is missing some of the paint, but we think this just adds to the character and beauty of this piece. The non-working original clock mechanism has been replaced with a battery-operated motor, and now keeps time perfectly. A gorgeous and rare find! (measurements approximate) 17"L x 12"H x 4.5"D, $245
