This gorgeous round dining table was designed by Canadian icon Jan Kuypers, for the "Contemporary" line at Imperial Furniture of Ontario circa 1950s. Made with solid afromosia (African teak) this compact table comes with one large leaf (stored separately) to make it an oval and comfortably seat 6. Featuring super clean lines, typical of Kuypers' work, with splayed tapered legs and straight skirt. The unique engineering of the table makes for super smooth sliding when installing the leaf. Freshly oiled and cleaned, in excellent condition with very minor wear. We cannot find one other example of this particular table online - it's a unique beauty! 43.5" in diameter, 29.25"H, leaf adds 18" for a total possible length of 61.5", $1395
