Vintage Northern Pintail Duck Taxidermy, Cleaned and Restored
This beautiful northern pintail duck was mounted circa 1950s, as per the information on its leg band, and has retained its natural colouring beautifully. Carefully cleaned and restored, the bill bands have been repainted and the feathers re-shingled into place as needed. For reasons unknown, this duck has two different colours glass eyes, although this is only noticeable upon close inspection. One foot has deteriorated over the decades, which we have artfully hidden using natural preserved moss. This is a gorgeous large specimen which has been nicely mounted on a piece of burled wood. 20"L x 13"H x 8"D, $245
