SALE! Gorgeous Mid Century Lounge Chair, Made in Norway, New Upholstery
This stunning chair was designed by Torbjorn Afdal for Sandvik of Norway, circa 1960s, and has been completely refinished and reupholstered. Featuring sculptural curves in the back, armrests, and of course those fabulous elliptical details crowning the top of the front legs. This high back version is much more rare than the low back version; in fact, we could not find a high back version that also had the padded side panels, as this one does. The mahogany frame has been completely refinished, and the cushions are all new foam with a velvety turquoise blue upholstery. We've replicated the original dowels and string that hold the back cushion to the frame, and now this gorgeous chair is in as new condition.
