Beautiful Mid Century Teak Dining Table w/ Unique Joinery Detail
This stunning mid century Danish teak dining table is truly a standout, both in design and function! Featuring beautifully curved corners with exposed finger joinery detail, tapered legs, and beveled edging, this table has been completely refinished from top to bottom. Designed by Henning Kjaernulf for Vejle Stole Mobelfabrik circa 1960s, lovely grain matching across the table top exemplifies the craftsmanship in this table. Two leaves allow seating up to 10, and are installed by way of a unique system: pull the two round knobs at each end of the table, and a metal rod extends to hold the leaves. Each leaf has tabs which fit into the holes and even magnets to secure them to the metal rods! When stored, the leaves fit conveniently into a specially-made tray, which extends down from the inside top of the table. 55"L x 35.5"W x 29"H, leaves add 19.75" each for a total possible length of 94.5", $1995
