SALE! Vintage "Brutalist" Style Side Tables/Nightstands, Refinished

Absolutely fantastic mid century "brutalist" style side tables/night stands, completely refinished! These incredibly unique pieces were made in Canada by a furniture company called Tobago, circa 1970s. They features the most amazing carved wood detailing on the the door fronts, which is more than an inch thick in places. The exterior walnut grain has been cleverly utilized to enhance the design: grains run horizontally on the top and drawer/door fronts, but vertically on the top and bottom of the frame, creating an interesting contrast. Tobago pieces are well-documented in this style, however; this exact design is nowhere to be found! It is identical to the Tobago pieces found online, but with the addition of two vertical wood detail pieces on each "arch" along the front, as well as being larger overall.
