This rare design was created by Vilhelm Wohlert for Soborg Mobler of Denmark in 1956, and features exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail. The curved backs are beautifully tapered at the ends, and supported by a tapered and curved frame. Exposed wedge with mortise and tenon joinery in the legs is a fine example of the build quality in these chairs, which are as solid as the day they were made. Totally unique to Wohlert's design, the "floating" seats are supported by the most lovely little pyramid shaped supports in a slightly darker African teak. We've thoroughly cleaned and oiled these chairs, which exhibit deep and varied teak tones, as well as some patina. New foam and upholstery in a warm brown-grey durable weave on the extra wide and curved seats (perfect for extended dinner parties!) SALE - WAS $3295, NOW $2795 / set of 6
