This unusual piece is a whimsical delight of carved faces, birds, flora and fauna. Made circa late 1800s in solid oak, this make a fabulous statement in an entryway or hallway. The remnant of a label on the back says "Maples Depository", which links back to British furniture maker, Maple & Co.
