Striking 1960s coffee table by Brazilian design icon, Percival Lafer, beautifully made with layers of rosewood. This design is a distinctively Lafer creation, instantly recognizable and unique - there's nothing else quite like it. Renowned for his "brutalist" style, this coffee table is both minimalist and maximalist at the same time; the overall design is simple, but the staggered blocks of various heights are busy yet organized. Cleaned, oiled, and in very good vintage condition, this table folds flat for transport (one of the folding mechanisms has been replaced with steel brackets, but this does not affect function).
