Incredible 1920s Art Deco Demilune Bar Cabinet, Refinished
This exceptional work of art was made in the 1920s, and features a distinctive wood inlay in a fabulous art deco fan pattern. The demilune shape with pedestal base is beautifully accented by the scalloped edging along the top and bottom, while nicely framing that striking inlay. Punctuated by two shiny chrome knobs, the doors open to reveal two thick shelves, ideal for storing barware, liquor, books, etc. Refinished top to bottom, this piece is now in very nice condition (with some remaining patina), and finished with a modern satin lacquer. Likely made in England or France, the variety of woods used include rosewood, mahogany, birch, and olive burl, to name a few.
