Lovely Victorian Whitby Jet Necklace
Hard to find in this market, we have a gorgeous beaded necklace made of Whitby jet, circa 1880, with sterling silver clasp. This lovely piece features large carved rosette beads with smaller faceted beads as spacers, and an ornate clasp - entirely hand-knotted throughout. As is typical with jet of this age, there is wear such as cracks/chips, etc. but overall, it is in very nice antique condition. 17"L, large beads are 3/4" in diameter, $225
