Fabulous and rare 1930s machine age rolling cart, in the style of renowned French designer, René Herbst. This ultra compact cart is made of chrome plated steel, enamelled metal trays, and black bakelite details. Completely disassembled, polished and cleaned, with tray tops repainted in glossy hammered black and new caster wheels installed, this piece is now in lovely antique condition. Note the unique half moon washers, which echo the curve of the black Bakelite spacers - such beautiful art deco detail! An extremely rare find, this piece would make the perfect mini bar cart for condo living!
