Beautiful 1960s leather chairs, designed by Fred Lowen of Australia. Lowen became the most famous mid century furniture designer in Australia, lead several companies in his career, and gained recognition throughout the world with his unique work. Perhaps most recognizable is his Tessa T1 chair, of which we are lucky enough to have two! These gorgeous chairs are made with caramel colour leather and Tasmanian Blackwood, swivel perfectly, and are ideal for lounging. We have carefully cleaned and conditioned the leather, oiled and restored the word, and now these chairs are in fabulous vintage condition with age-appropriate patina. An extremely rare find in North America and a wonderful example of mid century modern design. 29"W x 31"D x 32" high at back, 16" high at seat, $2495 / pair
