Refinished Mid Century Desk by Jan Kuypers, Canadian Vintage
Absolutely stunning mid century desk by Jan Kuypers for Imperial Furniture of Stratford Ontario! This amazing Canadian piece was made in the early 1950s, as part of Kuypers' "Helsinki" line, characterised by the ripple-front drawers. Also present are atomic elements often used by Kuypers, such as the tapered legs joined by a beautifully sculpted brace. Completely refinished top to bottom, revealing the gorgeous grain and character of the solid yellow birch wood. Super functional with three large drawers and one shallow drawer, this long and slim compact desk is perfect for small spaces.
