Super Rare Vintage "Cone" Chair by Verner Panton
Designed in 1958 by Verner Panton, the "Cone" chair went on to become one of the most iconic designs of the mid century. This unique chair stood out amongst the current offerings of Panton's fellow Danish designers, and as such he was considered somewhat of a rogue in mid century design. The cone chair is indeed a sight to behold, with it's seemingly weightless form teetering upon a narrow point attached to it's 4-legged base. This particular iteration is a later vintage model (possibly 1969), and features it's original black vinyl in excellent vintage condition. We've thoroughly cleaned and polished this piece, and it's now ready to make a statement in a new home! $1195
