This unusual piece is compact, functional, and beautifully carved! Made of solid oak and pine, this bench looks to be a combination of two different eras and places; the original carved panels and overall majority of the bench are likely Spanish, early 1800s, while the oak seat, arm rests, and back and likely early 1900s. This charming piece would make an ideal entryway bench, as it provides both seating and storage for boots, shoes, etc. Structurally sound, nice patina, plenty of age-related wear and tear showing its history and character.
