Amazing 1930s Heavy Iron Chairs w/ Original Paint, Refinished Seats
This very unique and super sturdy set of 4 chairs was made in the first half of the 20th century, and feature a gorgeous scrolled design and sleigh legs. Retaining much of their original black/green/yellow paint, we chose to preserve this patina with a heavy clear coat. The seats had a total of 3 layers of decaying vinyl; rather than replace it, we stripped them down and refinished the original fir plywood, which we think adds to the industrial look. These would make super trendy dining chairs, around a live edge, concrete, or tulip table. 16"W x 17"D x 32"H (at back), 18"H (at seat), $1195 / set
