Amazing 1960s 6' Evergleam Aluminum Christmas Tree w/ Pom-Pom Ends
This gorgeous tree is a perfect example of the aluminum Christmas tree craze of the mid-20th century! Made by the iconic Aluminum Specialty Company of Wisconsin, USA, this is the "Evergleam," a tree that would go on to inspire an obsession with all things glittery and bright for the next 10+ years. This is the 6' model, with original stem, stand, box, and sleeves, and all branches present. (Note that in later years, these trees were made with silver vinyl rather than real aluminium, like this one). In very good condition, given the age, and easy to assemble as all branches are the same length. These are getting really hard to find, and this one is truly a standout! About 45" in diameter, $1195
