This fabulous pine chest was made circa late 1800s, and features an incredibly patina with two layers of paint, one green and one yellow. The original forged iron handles are intact, as are the hinges; note one hinge is attached with screws, the other with square nails. Inside, an attached narrow tray can hold small items, while the main compartment is ideas for blankets, books, or pretty much anything. The compact size of this piece would make it an excellent coffee table or even side table, with the added bonus of lots of storage. Tiny dovetail joints at the corners speak to the craftsmanship of this vibrant antique. 32"L x 22"D x 16"H, $395
