Rare compact sofa by Danish designer Arne Vodder for George Tanier of NYC, circa 1950s. Reupholstered in the past decade, we’ve installed new webbing, new cotton wrap in the seat cushion, and treated the oak legs with oil. Beautifully designed with curved and flared arms, and rolled back with lumbar support. Exceptionally well-built, the oak base is in excellent condition, with a rich golden tone that almost matches teak. Well cared for by the same family since purchase, in excellent condition. 71"W (to outside of arms) x 31"D x 32"H (at back), seat height is 18" at front, WAS $1895, NOW $1495
