Rare *PAIR* of Mid Century Teak R. Huber "Palm" Chairs & Matching Ottoman
A very rare and fabulous find, not one, but TWO! R. Huber palm/scoop chairs - plus an ottoman! This iconic Canadian design hails from Montreal, and uses a fibreglass form to create the signature look. Clad in the original black vinyl, the teak frames have a lovely patina, and everything has been cleaned/oiled/conditioned/repaired to bring all pieces up to very good vintage condition. Note these are 50+ year old pieces which have had a "life", so they are not perfect but about as close as one can get with original materials intact. Eventually the fabric will need a facelift, but with care it should have lots of time left. The black with teak is a classic, timeless combo and will look great in any decor - just add a toss cushion or throw for a pop of colour. So rare to find a pair, and the elusive ottoman too! $4795 / set
