Rare Royal System by CADO Denmark, Totally Modular & Super Functional
Hard to find mid century teak modular shelving system by CADO Denmark, the "Royal" System, circa 1960s. This unique two-bay collection offers 6 narrow shelves, 2 extra deep shelves, a magazine/book display, and two-door cabinet with shelf inside. We've configured the pieces so that an extra deep shelf doubles as a handy desktop surface, but you can move them anywhere you like. This system is different in that it uses solid teak brackets with wood dowels that fit into the posts; other systems utilize brass brackets or metal hooks, but this one is entirely wood. All pieces have been cleaned, oiled, and restored as needed. In overall very nice vintage condition, minor cosmetic wear, and a great all-in-one multifunctional collection! 64.5"W (to outside of posts), deepest shelf is 19", posts are 80"H, $2295 / set
