Sweet Pair of Wrought Iron Lily Pad Tables by Salterini, Circa 1950s

  • $595.00

Super rare pair of nesting tables in the shape of lily pads, made with wrought iron by Salterini USA. Saterini was started by an Italian immigrant, John Salterini, and became known throughout the 1940s/1950s for their high-end, quality built wrought iron furniture. This is a beautiful example of Salterini's vision of bringing the outdoors in, and vice versa; these tables would be just as home in a living room as they would on a sunny patio. Originally painted green, then black, and now metallic hammered gold, these tables still bear some marks of their past lives, with old rust divots now covered and protected by the enamel paint. Lovely and space-saving, and a wonderfully whimsical addition to any home. Taller table is 21.25"H, lower table is 20.5"H, both are 11"W and 13.5"D, $595 / pair
