Fab Mid Century Modular Teak Shelving by Hansen & Guldborg of Denmark
Unique 1950s teak modular shelving system, by Hansen and Guldborg of Denmark. This compact collection includes three "magazine shelves" (ideal for displaying coffee table books, artwork, etc.), three straight shelves (two deep, one shallow), and a two-door cabinet with adjustable shelves. The original brass brackets for the 3 straight shelves were MIA, so we used steel brackets to make them usable (this also means they need to be fixed to the wall, unlike the other components which can be moved around at will). Each post is actually two pieces, meaning the system can be arranged at half-height to go over a fireplace/TV/etc or under a large art piece/window/etc (see example photo). All pieces have been cleaned, oiled, and cosmetically restored, and the entire set is in very nice vintage condition.
