This absolutely stunning and rare piece is a tortoiseshell bamboo cabinet, made in Victorian England circa late 1800s. This gorgeous piece has much of its original embossed paper covering intact, which features a floral pattern in cream and dark grey - and check out the red version inside the drawers! The doors maintain their original wavy glass and brass pull, while inside four paper-lined shelves offer lots of storage. The drawers have their original brass pulls with subtle detailing, and each corner join of the cabinet is enforced with a patinated metal cap. This cabinet has been meticulously cleaned and restored as needed, with a fresh coat of clear varnish over the exterior paper to add shine and durability. Compact and low profile, this beauty is ideal for small spaces.
