SALE! Gorgeous & Rare Mid Century Brazilian Rosewood & Marble Knoll Sideboard

This stunning sideboard was created by the iconic American designer Florence Knoll in 1961, and has become such a classic that it is still in production today. This particular 4-door version was made circa 1960s/1970s, and features incredibly beautiful Brazilian rosewood on the exterior (the wood type is of note not only because of its beauty, but also because it is no longer available; it has been a CITES Appendix I species since 1992). Supported by an extremely heavy duty chrome base, this substantial yet low profile unit has an exterior lined in golden oak, with a total of 6 adjustable shelves. When we received this credenza, the top had been refinished (see: butchered) by a former owner and needed to be replaced. We chose this spectacular Carrera marble, which was an optional top material at the time, and therefore keeping it true to the original design. The chrome base has been polished and cleaned, the interior and exterior thoroughly oiled and restored, and of course the new polished marble top is the crowning glory.
