This unusual and striking credenza was made in the USA by Rapids Furniture circa 1970s, and features a unique mix of woods and materials. The doors at the centre are Brazilian rosewood, the drawers and top are mahogany, and the sides appear to be tola. The base is equally intriguing, with two substantial slabs of thick lucite for the legs, joined by a tubular chrome bar, which matches the tubular chrome pulls on the doors/drawers. Behind the doors are three additional drawers, almost more like pull out trays; combined with the six larger drawers on the left and ride sides, there is tons of storage! Ideal as an entertainment unit, bedroom dresser, dining room cabinet, etc. Quality built with metal glides and dovetail drawer construction.
