Amazing 1950s Table Lamp w/ Pressed Butterfly Shade, Sculptural Details
Wow! This incredible mid century lamp is near mint, and an absolutely unique and rare find! Super tall and slim, this brass-stem lamp features a sculptural walnut detail as well as matching finial. The entire piece has been cleaned and oiled, and the base carefully restored to its original brassy glow. The original shade is a statement all unto itself; made with fibreglass and has grasses, raffia, and real butterfly wings pressed into the surface and finished with a glossy coating.
